Precautions

Note when using Fiberglass Emulsion Chopped Strand Mat:

1. Store the fiberglass chopped strand mat in a dry and cool environment to prevent moisture absorption.

2. Wear appropriate protective equipment, such as gloves and a dust mask, when handling the material to avoid skin irritation and inhalation of fibers.

3. Ensure the working area is well-ventilated to minimize the risk of inhaling airborne fibers during cutting or handling.

4. Use a sharp pair of scissors or a fiberglass cutting tool to cut the mat to the desired shape and size, taking care to minimize fraying and loose fibers.

5. Apply the resin evenly and thoroughly throughout the chopped strand mat to ensure proper adhesion and reinforcement.

6. Keep the work area clean and free of debris to prevent contamination of the fiberglass chopped strand mat during application.

• Mat rolls are supplied in a protective polythene bag in a one-piece carton box. These are placed vertically on wooden pallets and shrink-wrapped for stability and protection.
